THE LITTLE PRINCE

Step into a world where art, light, and storytelling come together to create an experience inspired by Antoine de Saint-Exupéry's beloved tale, The Little Prince.
"This piece brings to mind Exupery’s story of The Little Prince. Daniel Berant and I agreed it would fit perfectly here. The tale has so many layers of insight that resonate with the spirit of Burning Man. When we talked about it back at the festival, we realized just how universally known this story is, connecting with people everywhere, no matter if they’re from Europe, Africa, or Asia."

On the planet’s surface, the Little Prince, the fox, and the rose convey themes of innocence, love, friendship, and loss. These figures invite participants to reflect on their own experiences with relationships and meaning, highlighting the importance of seeing the world with curiosity and an open heart.
The installation is designed to tell its own story, drawing visitors into a journey of discovery, interaction, and mystery. The dynamic LED lighting, responsive to the environment, embodies the idea that we both influence and are influenced by our surroundings. This interactivity deepens the connection with the piece, encouraging participants to explore hidden layers of meaning and to engage with the installation in personal and unexpected ways.
Like The Little Prince, the installation urges us to find wonder in the small things and to view life with renewed perspective, reminding us of the universal themes that resonate across cultures.
